Olivier Moreau is a person who combines a professional career in computers, a social implication in several domain, and an original artistic endehavour. Born in France in 1958, he has lived in Périgord, Bretagne, Spain, Québec, British Columbia, Bermuda and Martinique. He studied mainly sciences with occasional classes in philosophy and art, from that came the incertainty principal in surealist art !

His artistic production is oriented along four axes : modern surealist painting, conceptual assemblage, classic technics, and pop infography. Corresponding techniques are acrylic, assembling and pasting, watercolor, photography and computers. His principal themes are : women, sea and boats, sci-fi, computer stuff, rocks and other natural objects.

For him the ten great masters throughout the history of art are : Botticelli, Bouguereau, Waterhouse, Gustave Moreau, Klimt, Renoir, Chagall, Beckmann, Dali, Lichtenstein.

His first works were done in 1976, and he produced since few hundred pieces. He did not made many exhibition because it's just to much work ! His three main exhibitons were :
- Exposition collective "L'epingle à Linge" - Complexe "G" - Québec, Canada - 1980
- Exposition collective "Fractalism" - Helen Pitt Gallery - Vancouver, Canada - 1984
- Exposition individuelle "Hermil Art Mil" - Hamilton, Bermuda - 1990

Thanks for your welcome in the-surreal-arts club. I might be geneticaly related to Gustave (I don't know) but I'm surely culturaly very close of his symbolism movement as well as Redon and Klimt. Like Rousseau I'm a naive autodicact who uses lot of joyfull colors...
